The Hand of Hope International is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to inspire children and enable them to help change the world by assisting with education, food and disaster relief.

In the United States and other developed countries, we take for granted all the necessities of life, while millions around the globe are enduring hunger, poverty and preventable disease.

The Hand of Hope International believes that every child has great potential and that each child should have the opportunity for success in life. We believe that by helping children overcome adversity, wherever they live, they can change our world. The majority of funding is provided by Robert & Keli Wilson, however, there is much more to be done.

The Hand of Hope International knows no geographic boundaries. We serve children worldwide, wherever there is a need for food, shelter, education or disaster relief.

Our sole purpose is to inspire children and enable them to change the world by assisting with education, food and disaster relief.

The Hand of Hope donates to and collaborates with other Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organizations to fund our mission. Unlike other groups, The Hand of Hope forwards 100% of all monies to its cause, with no money being used for administrative purposes.

The Hand of Hope has been organized as a conduit to bring key people together to participate in overcoming the challenges children are faced with in the United States and internationally.

OUR MISSION

HHI is a strong advocate in assisting children with education, after school programs and protecting the ecosystem of the Hawaiian Islands.

In 2017, HHI embarked on a feasibility study to develop a high tech innovation center to promote higher education and business incubation opportunities. This ecosystem will assist the residents and children of Kauai.

HHI helps to distribute new high protein food. Malnutrition is by far the most significant contributor to the mortality of children under 5 worldwide, who are most likely to become severely malnourished because they need so many nutrients for proper growth and development.

HHI is a sponsor to support education in schools and individual children. In the Philippines, few families can afford to pay for their child's education and many children have to walk miles to and from school if they can even afford to go. We believe that education is one of the key factors in a country's ability to overcome poverty and that every child deserves this opportunity to have a bright future.

HHI helped open the first hospital for children. On January 12, 2010, the most impoverished country in the Western hemisphere was rocked by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake that destroyed 80-90% of buildings, schools and roads, leaving the entire country in a state of chaos and ruin.

Father Scott is a medical doctor and the World coordinator and founder of SOS Doctors. SOS Doctors is an international disaster relief organization

Since 2008, Rob and his wife have been involved in numerous humanitarian projects. Much of their efforts have involved assisting homeless children, families and sponsoring children in the United States and the Philippines.
